The Kalmar Township Planning Commission will hold a meeting at the Kalmar Town Hall, on Monday, August 17th, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. regarding: An application for an Interim Use Permit to allow an approximately 28.6-acre solar garden known as “Cascade Sun LLC and Cave Sun LLC Solar Project”. This is a continuation of our July 7th meeting as an extension was granted to gather more information.
Kalmar Township is actively seeking residents that want to serve on the Township Planning Commission. This Board approves Zoning Applications and also recommends planning and zoning items to the Township Board. Interested parties should send an email to kalmartownship@gmail.com for additional information.
